About us

The Light Visuals story.

Light Visuals grew from the requirements of my own landscape lighting work. Every fitting is designed to be adjusted on site at night, serviced over the years, and repaired rather than replaced.

Neil Parslow, founder

I'm Neil Parslow, a landscape lighting designer. For more than twenty years I have worked with garden designers and their clients, across the UK and internationally, on how a garden is seen and experienced after dark.

Most of that work happens on site, at night: positioning, aiming, focusing and adjusting light until the composition is right. It asks a lot of the equipment. I needed fittings that could be fine-tuned in the field, keep their light sources discreet, and still be serviced years after installation.

Light Visuals is the result. The range is modular, with interchangeable optics, replaceable LED modules and individual components that can be serviced or changed long after the garden has matured. I use it where it best serves the design, alongside other carefully selected equipment.

Built to be serviced, not replaced.

The system

A modular system, designed and manufactured in Britain.

  • Interchangeable optics

Beam angles changed on site to suit the subject, so the light can be refined after dark rather than fixed on a drawing.

  • Replaceable LED modules

The LED module can be replaced on its own, so a fitting keeps working long after its original source has aged.

  • Glare control

Louvres, glare guards and recessed sources keep the light source discreet and out of the line of sight.

  • Adaptable mounting

Spikes, poles, surface and tree mounts can be changed as the planting grows and the garden matures.

Landscape lighting design

Landscape lighting is not an accessory to the garden. It is the design of the garden after dark. For lighting design, from first consultation to night-time refinement on site, visit Neil Parslow Landscape Lighting Design.
